We are back with Part Five of the Live Edge Desk Build for my Mom! This is all about doing the bookmatched veneer glue up, which was a challenge to say the least! And even though I need to fill a few more cracks that didn’t totally fill in with the first epoxy pours, I couldn’t resist putting some Tried and True Original Linseed oil and beeswax finish on, and popping them into their frames…. I am so excited.
Even though I didn’t show it, the other veneers have been milled and cut, they are ready for glue-up.
I still need to dowel and install the dust frames, pre-finish, and assemble the carcase of the cabinet.
